Architekturbüro Böhm has been planning private, commercial and public buildings in the Eichstätt region for over 30 years. Their previous website ran on a site builder, where the projects got lost and the site didn't reflect the quality of the office's work. The brief: a new website that puts the projects at the center and that the team can maintain on its own, without depending on a third-party platform.
Outcome
A custom-built website that puts the architecture first: one endless horizontal row of black-and-white images, swiped through like a stack of photographs, with an animated intro that turns a full-screen photo into the navigation. Behind it sits a custom CMS, so the office manages its projects and images itself. Shown here is my original design, which was later developed further with the client.
